Breast Reconstruction – Case 1

Case ID: 5460

Individual results may vary.

Case Details

51-year-old patient with right breast cancer requiring mastectomy. Before mastectomy, photo shows the existing breast imbalance. After mastectomy, the right breast has been entirely reconstructed with tissue from her tummy (no implant was used). She is awaiting right nipple reconstruction in the post-op images. Notice the better size and shape match with the natural left side; this is not possible with an implant. (Note: the visible upper abdominal scars are from an unrelated laparoscopic surgery)
